Veppam Kulir Mazhai

The film is directed by Pascal Vedamuthu, with music by Shankar, music by Sankar, starring MS Bhaskar, Dhirav, Ismadbanu, Rama, Master Kathikeyan, Dev Habibullah, Vijayalakshmi and others.

After more than 5 years of marriage, the hero Dhirav, who works as a cow inoculator, and the heroine Ismat Banu have not had a child. Due to this, whatever the problem, the villagers point to the problem of infertility of Dhirav-Ismat Banu couple. Troubled by such talk from neighbors and relatives, the couple decides to undergo a medical examination. Accordingly, on examination of both, it is found that there is a problem with Dhirav. But Ismat Banu hides this matter without telling her husband, at the same time she realizes that her husband is mentally affected by the problem of infertility and takes a decision. As a result, a child is born to him. The family is filled with joy because of the birth of a child, but in a few years, the child causes a big problem between the couple. What is that problem? ‘Heat and cold rain’ focuses on the important problem that people are facing in the current period, the scientific solution for it and advice to the people who hesitate to accept it.

Dirav, who is playing the hero, has played a very compelling role in the first film. Love with his wife, being disturbed by the talk of the villagers, crying because of his mistake, suffering because of what his wife has done without his knowledge, he has expressed all the emotions through his deep acting very elegantly. Ismat Banu, who has acted in small roles in several films, is for the first time playing the heroine of a story befitting the character of Pandiamma.

Playing the satirical village grandfather sitting on the paddy, MS Bhaskar reflects the health and carefree life of the older generation.
Rama, who plays the hero’s mother, gets attention in acting alongside the hero and the heroine. Master Karthikeyan, Dev Habibullah, Vijayalakshmi, Karupu have all done their job well. Apart from the stars, all the people who played the townspeople, despite being from the village, acted without any tension in front of the camera which is commendable.

Cinematographer Prithvi Rajendran’s simplistic cinematography captures the simple village in a pleasing way and gives the audience the experience of traveling inside a village.

In Shankar’s music, Tirav’s lyrics are all songs with a rural feel, understandable and repeatable. The background music enlivens the storyline.

Although many movies have dealt with the problem of infertility in a small part, the main theme of this film is the problem of infertility, but the fact that the screenplay designed around it is popular and natural makes the film enjoyable.Infertility is not a couple or individual problem, it’s an outcome that happens when it happens. But the director Pascal Vedamuthu, who has emphatically recorded the opinion that it is the society that makes it a huge problem, even though there is a scientific solution for it, many people still do not accept it, especially the villagers have no understanding about it, and he has tried to make them understand this.In a simple village background, director Pascal Vedamuthu, who has spoken the concept needed by the society in a civilized and realistic manner, has given it in the form of an excellent screen language and has given the moviegoers the feeling of traveling in that village.
