Idi Minnal Kadhal

An accident, a man dying, a boy searching for his missing father, a young man guilt-ridden for an unknowing mistake he made while traveling abroad for work. `Idi Minnal Kadhal`’ is a story that diverges into different branches and meets at one point.

CB has played the role of a young man who causes an accident by driving a car. Even though he has done his part well in the occasions he gets to act, the minus is that he doesn’t act in the range of how he can bear the beating in the climax.

Bhavya Trikka is beautiful as Ciby’s rich girlfriend. Half the time is spent trying to find a guilt-ridden CP. “We don’t even know what would have happened,” comments the audience as the CB visits the secret room in the car workshop.

Aditya, a boy who longs for his father, at one point goes into a tense mood and shows a face of terror as the future villain Ready scores brilliantly. Vincent Nakul, as a homo-sex villain, flirts and tempts here and there. Yasmin Ponnappa as a sex worker. ‘Touching’ in the scenes where he embraces the boy with a compassionate heart beyond the profession.

Jagan, who comes as a workshop owner, has tried hard to make people laugh. Radharavi as a priest and Balaji as a police officer are also okay. Jayachander Binnamneni’s cinematography is outstanding, Sam CS’s background score is loud
Bad words could have been avoided at the designated places. Director Balaji Madhavan could have been appreciated if he had thought differently and increased the pace of the screenplay.
‘Thunder and lightning love’ can be put aside.
