If you want to bring audiences to the theaters to see a film with no big budget and no big stars, the only way to do it is to make a film with a different script. That is what the director of this film, Venkateswaraj, thought. What gave him that idea was a strategy with a hyperlink script feature in the linear image collection. One night a politician and a practicing lawyer are killed and the only witness is Gajaraj who becomes a lawyer.
Aside from his confession, Mali, who plays the role of inspector legally, and Inspector Vinoth, who is moral, tend to unravel the background of the murders. It reveals many startling twists and turns.
In fact, we have to praise Venkateswaraj who has written the screenplay of this film and edited and directed the film without confusion.
The success of this film is that the story starts from somewhere and moves back and forth and finally comes to a conclusion.
What’s one thing… even if we wake up with a break, we will come to understand that this is the story. The second half only moves on the scale of how the story unfolded.
It is welcome that in films that come with such innovative techniques, there is no typical cinematic clichés of hero-heroine and the emphasis is given to all the characters. Through this, the dominance of heroes in cinema and their salaries will be greatly reduced.
In other words, Gajaraj, the eyewitness to the murder, and Jeeva Ravi, who is killed, have important contributions. Both of them are experienced actors and they blow their roles.
The beauty and courage of Baucia Hidaya, who appears in a coma for the entire front half and moves around in flashback for the back half, is admirable. A good writer award can be given to Baucia who comes with the knowledge and honesty of a teacher.
Harshita Ram, who plays the victimized co-teacher of Bausiya in the film, is also attractive. On the one hand, the threats of the delinquent students, on the other hand, the attack on Bauzia, who demanded justice for him, is heartbreaking when he gives up his life in crisis.
Ananth Nag as an army soldier, Vinod as an inspector and Malik all fit the roles.
Seeing Balaji as a mature student gives us goosebumps.
Rail Ravi, Bhuvendan, Anand Venkat and others who have taken on other roles have also acted in a tight manner.
Cinematographer Joke Sikandar has a budget so big that there is no chance to do anything other than normal scenes.
Ram Ganesh’s music also sounds in tune with the character of the film.
The biggest flaw in new ventures like this is that the titles are incomprehensible to the mass fan.
No one can figure out what a bird is until the end. It is the name of a type of butterfly. If you know all this, can you come to see the film..?
Also, the director is slipping a lot in terms of logic. Especially if her husband is an army soldier and her brother is an inspector, Harshita Ram hangs herself right in front of their eyes… both of them are crying and looking out of the window. Shouldn’t you break down the door and go in and save him?
Even a common man can do it. But it is not logical at all for a soldier and a policeman to join hands and be helpless to prevent a suicide.
But the screenplay of this film can be appreciated in favor of the new venture.
