It is a story of rescue of people who are languishing in prison – by chance – without committing a crime. Director Vinod Rajendran has given an excellent detective thriller.
Charlie the fisherman who plays Peter. He lives happily with his wife and only daughter. He suddenly has a big money problem. To cope, he pleads guilty to manslaughter and goes to prison. The (real) criminal side says that they will pay several lakhs of rupees and we will be released in six months. But the guilty party withdraws after giving one lakh rupees. And no action was taken to get him out of jail.
Due to this his wife commits suicide. A ten-year-old daughter fights to save her father.
A detective agency comes to his aid.
The story revolves around Charlie getting out of prison and finding the real culprits.
Charlie as Peter. As the innocent head of the family, he evokes pity as the man who lives in prison without doing anything wrong.
Vinod Rajendran, who has directed the film, plays the role of a private detective. Excellent natural acting. Dharani, who comes as his assistant, also does a good job. Nizalgal Ravi comes in as a senior advocate for the government and makes a mark. Great acting.
Senrayan has played an innocent role that not only himself but also Charlie gets into trouble.
Prana as Charlie’s daughter, Nasser as the villain, all the actors attract attention.
Surya Prasad’s music, Babu Antony’s cinematography and Tamil Kumar’s editing all add strength to the film.

Each scene builds anticipation for what’s to come. Not just a detective story, director Vinod Rajendran also gives a chilling account of the horrors that take place in the society (money fraud, murder for fraud, innocent people who are convicted of murder and go to jail for money).
Overall a great movie to enjoy.
