Its been a long time talking the man who can sport any topic from top to bottom… But we have only a neutral place of discussion called cinema. So called him with some questions about his experiences in the film ‘ Yennai Arindhaal’. He greeted us as ever sweet as after some pranks. Just got with some fresh answers from him.
(i) In a recent interview Director Gautham has said that due to non availability of your dates He made VTV Ganesh to act in ‘Vinnaithadi Varuvaaya’. Have you felt that you could have done that role.
Yes, I used to feel for missing that role. But VTV Ganesh made a tremendous mark with that role. Am happy for him.But i wonder if Gautham had really thought about me for the role.
(ii)You are joining with Gautham after a very long time… what is the Difference between ‘Minnale’ Gautham Menon and ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ Gautham Menon.
Minnanle Gautham was 13 years younger… debutant, he was so vibrant and tensed then. He used to come in a bike for the shooting spot.
Yennai Arindhaal Gautham is 13 years experienced… he handles things in a matured way… Same love and affection… Today he comes in Audi.
(iii) We have always seen you as Hero’s friend clads in T-shirt with Coolers with a dramatic look… but in this film ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ you look so lively and in a different getup too.. what is your character in the film sir.?
Yes, My role is a person who carries himself according to the situation. He will be serious at times… he will mischievous at times… the character makes the audience to laugh as well as to think. Hope all the comedy scenes shot will tackle Editor Antony’s cuttings…
(iv) You acted as Ajith sir’s Friend in many movies… ‘Kadhal Mannan’ Shiva or ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ Satyadev Who is your best friend?
Shiva- a youthful Lover boy , Satyadev- a Responsble Police Officer

(v) It is very obvious that Thala fans ruling the social media. Have you got experience with them..
They are very fond of him… From the day they got to know that I am acting in this film. They stalked me asking “how is our thala?” , “what is the story…? They are tremendous…

(viii) You have been an Ardent follower of Periyaar now turned a Baba devotee…how was this change happened.
I have spoken about Periyaar’s principles Women Education, against Communities and Superstitious believes in many of my films.
I am only against foolishness and furiousness in religions.
(ix)How much the film ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ will be important in your career.
I have played an important role. This will be one of the important films in my career. Thanks to Ajith for his love and affection.
