Even if you take the story of the English movie "Breakdown," director Magizh Thirumeni has crafted a wonderful screenplay suited for Tamil without copying that movie directly. The director has entirely differentiated the screenplay for both the English movie and the Tamil movie Vidamuyarchi. The film's twists in several places amaze us.
Vidamuyarchi is a film produced by Lyca Productions, starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, and others, with music by Anirudh, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Ajith and Trisha are husband and wife, but they have significant differences. Trisha is eager to divorce Ajith, who is unwilling to let go. In this situation, when they go to Trisha's mother's house, Trisha is kidnapped. Who kidnapped her, how, and why is the rest of the story.
The story of Vidamuyarchi is not for a mass hero, but Ajith should be greatly appreciated for choosing this story. He has brilliantly portrayed what the story requires. We see a completely different Ajith in this film, who moves us with his amazing performance, especially during the scenes where he searches for his wife. He portrays his avoidance brilliantly. As Ajith's wife, Trisha has beautifully expressed her acting as always. When Trisha is kidnapped, the point where Regina Cassandra intimidates her, yearning for her husband's love, she displays a brilliant performance. It is certainly a challenging role for Trisha, and she has executed it excellently and elegantly.
As the villain, Arjun, along with his lover Regina, and Aarav, kidnap Trisha. This trio can be said to be a fantastic combination. Arjun, who has already acted with Ajith in Mankatha, displays a completely different villain character throughout. Regina, who comes as his pair, shines as an excellent villain in this movie.
Director Magizh Thirumeni has presented a refined film that everyone can sit and watch together through a wonderful screenplay. Another strength of the film is Anirudh's music, adding significant strength through his background score. Similarly, the songs are also excellent. The cinematography by director Om Prakash, through excellent filming, gives the impression of whether it’s a Tamil movie or an English movie, delivering a quality film to Tamil cinema.

Overall, Vidamuyarchi is a good effort.
