DIRECTORIAL DEBUT AND FIRST LEAD ROLE
Vels Film International Ltd., one of Tamil cinema’s most dynamic and forward-thinking production houses, is proud to announce its next major venture — ‘DAYANGARAM’, a film written, directed by, and starring VJ Sidhu in his debut as both filmmaker and lead actor.
Titled after the viral word popularised by Sidhu through his YouTube videos, ‘DAYANGARAM’ now finds new meaning on the big screen — a lively, attitude-driven campus entertainer brimming with energy, humour, and emotion.
From hosting top-rated shows to becoming a digital phenomenon, VJ Sidhu has built a strong bond with today’s youth through his wit, honesty, and relatability. His leap to cinema has been long anticipated, and this project marks a major milestone in his creative evolution.
