Thrillers that convince audience in Tamil cinena are a rarity. Newcomer Vicky has come out with one that is engaging and entertaining. The movie stars Kalaiyarasan , Dhanshikaa, Mime Hopi and Daniel in the lead roles. Johan composes music. It is an out-of-form fiction writer and his wife encounter a slew of horrific incidents when they visit a hill station.

Jeevan (Kalaiyarasan), is a struyggling writer now. He loses his touch and wants to make an impact again.
His publisher rejects all his ideas. His wife Jennie (Sai Dhanshika) worries about his fate. He comes up with the story of an anti-hero and it convinces his publisher. he wants him to make it a novel.
He decides to go to Meghamalai as he believes its calm ambience will be very crucial in bringing out his creativity. He sets out to the hill station where he has arranged a stay at his friend’s guest house. A forest guard (Mime Gopi), too, is there to help him. But little does Jeevan know that he is taking a big risk with his decision. He encounters a series of horrific events, following which he finds it difficult to differentiate between real and imaginary incidents. Things turn topsy-turvy when Jennie pays a surprise visit to the hill station.
All said it is a movie that is engaging thanks to Dhanshika’s performance. Three cheers to her show. Kalaiyarasan is okay. Uru is a must watch thriller/.
