On the day of the wedding, Rohini’s parents object to their love and separate the two. They beat Pashupati and throw him in a well, so that Rohini thinks he is dead, and arranges a different marriage for him. After many years Pashupati meets Rohini again and Rohini dies shortly after the meeting, the rest of the story is whether he burned the pole in Rohini’s field while burning him or not.
I have to say that Pasupathi, who is playing the hero of the film, carries the entire film, he has given a very realistic performance that makes you understand his character and listen to the story. He has portrayed a very deep and compelling character so brilliantly that no one else can match that character. It has to be said that he is full of humor in his performance, in comedy and also in the sad scenes, he is full of emotion in the fight scenes.
Rohini must be applauded for playing this role, but whether anyone else will play this role is a big question mark because she plays a corpse in half of the films. She has given an amazing performance beautifully and has proved that no one else can give such a performance in an older character. Especially the scenes where he talks to Pasupathi at the bus stand are very wonderful. As long as one can play a corpse, he has done it brilliantly. Even when many people are sitting and crying in front of him and doing comedy, he has done a wonderful performance without revealing any of his movements.
Ammu Abhirami leaves a mark on our minds even if there are a couple of scenes. It must be said that Ammu Abhirami has given her perfect performance as Rohini’s young age. Vivek Prasanna playing the role of Rohini’s son Vivek Prasanna comes across as a drunkard throughout the film and Pashupati gives an amazing performance in every threatening scene as a real drunkard.
Another strength of the film is that Deepa has lively, deep and moving scenes in this film, but in this film it is only lively. She has shown a very realistic performance in the guise she puts on for the insurance money after her mother’s death.
If we say that the strength of this film is the actors and actresses, every character chosen by the director has been chosen and acted in wonderful characters, this is the biggest plus for the film.
This is the first film for director Ram Sangaiah and he has made his mark in the first film. He has created this story by taking an amazing story and making it a funny and heartwarming love story. Director Ram Sangaiah has created a very strong screenplay. He keeps the story moving with a crowd of old people. There have been many village stories but I have to say that this is a very realistic story and for this I have to praise the director Ram Sangaiah.
Music composer K. S. Director Sundaramurthy has impressed the fans by providing the necessary songs and background music for the story and has been a great strength for the director.
