Sundar C's magnum opus tri-lingual Sangamithra with Shruti Haasan in the title role and Jayam Ravi & Arya as the chief male protagonists to be unveiled at the Opening Night at the 70th Cannes Film Festival
Director Sundar C’s Sangamithra is set to make history. The film, starring Jayam Ravi & Arya as warriors & Shruti Haasan essaying the title character of a warrior princess, will be formally announced at the Opening Night of this year's Cannes Film Festival on May 18.
Walking the red carpet on the Cannes opening night will be the leading cast and director, along with the producers Narayanan Ramasamy & Hema Rukmani from Thenandal Studios and production designer Sabu Cyril.
An enthusiastic Sundar C says, “It’s an honour to be unveiling Sangamitra at the prestigious Cannes film festival with my producers Thenandal Studios and my entire cast. This is the most challenging & special project in my career.”
