Sonam bajwa has been a revelation in the Tamil film industry.Her debut film ‘Kappal’ had made great inroads into the box office in the fag end of the year 2014.The tall angelic beauty hails from Punjab and the geographical connect is all over evident in the complexion and built .Sonam bajwa is tipped to make it big by the trade pundits.
” Though i hail from Punjab , some how i was always connected with South India.Friends from this region were plenty and especially Tamil speaking. This culture and language was not new to me.It is an absolute pride to find my name in a film produced by Shankar sir. I had a day of my life meeting the legends of Tamil cinema in a single event .Vijay sir, Vikram sir, A R Rahman sir and Shankar sir each emperors in their respective areas were so sweet and kind to a new comer like me.I was very impressed with Vijay sir, he was simple and elegant. No wonder his fan base is so strong. It is a life time desire to be paired opposite him and iam very confident that this will happen soon . Post ‘Kappal’ there are plenty of offers that had been coming my way and a formal announcement on the same will be made soon. I had been watching Tamil films regularly now and understand the finer points which will enhance my potentiality and mark my presence’ said the empress to be to the media.

‘.நான் பஞ்சாபை சேர்ந்தவள் எனக்கு பெரும்பாலும் நண்பர்கள் தமிழ் நாட்டை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் தான்.நாடே போற்றும் ஒரு இயக்குனரான சங்கர் சாருடைய தயாரிப்பில் என்னுடைய முதல் படம் வருவது எனக்கு மிக மிக பெருமை. கப்பல் படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவில்தமிழ் திரை உலகின் தூண்களான விஜய் சார், விக்ரம் சார், ரகுமான் சார், ஷங்கர் சார் அனைவரையும் ஒரே மேடையில் சந்தித்ததில் எனக்கு மட்டற்ற மகிழ்ச்சி.அவர்களது கனிவான் வார்த்தைகளும் , ஊக்கமும் என்னை உற்சாகமூட்டியது. இதற்க்கு பிறகு நான் விஜய் சாருக்கு தீவிர ரசிகை ஆகி விட்டேன். எளிமையாக அதே நேரம் எல்லோரையும் கவரும் காந்தமுமாக இருந்தார்.அவருக்கு இவ்வளவு ரசிகர்கள் இருப்பதில் ஆச்சரியமில்லை.அவருடன் ஜோடியாக ஒரு படம் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில் மிகவும் தீவிரமாக இருக்கிறேன்.அது இந்த வருடமே கை கூடும் என்பதில் நம்பிக்கையுடன் இருக்கிறேன்.கப்பல் படத்துக்கு பிறகு எனக்கு எண்ணற்ற வாய்ப்புகள் வந்த வண்ணம் உள்ளது.அதன் சம்மந்தமாக விரைவில் முறையான அறிவிப்பு வரும். நான் சமீபமாக மேலும் நிறைய தமிழ் படங்களை பார்க்க ஆரம்பித்து இருக்கிறேன்.திரை உலகின் நுணுக்கங்களை அந்த படங்கள் மூலம் கற்றுக் கொண்டு வருகிறேன்’ .என்று தன்னுடைய வசீகர புன்னகையோடு சொல்கிறார் சோனம் பாஜ்வா .
