Produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar under Home Movie Makers, Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Samuthirakani, Yuvina Parthavi, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal and Ajay, the film is written and directed by Antony Bhagyaraj.
A schoolgirl (Yuvina Parthavi) who studies well, when she wins a prize at school, tells her that her father is abroad. But that’s a lie. He (Jayam Ravi) is in jail. Daughter hates her father who is in jail. Even though she was told by grandmothers, stepfathers, stepfathers, aunts and uncles, her hatred did not diminish. Not wanting to see his daughter’s angry face, the father spends years without parole even once. He is on parole in one position. Daughter hates her. A constable (Yogi Babu) who is safely on parole befriends the prisoner.
When the prisoner is on parole, a politician (Azhakamperumal) is sent by his subordinate (Ajay) to kill him.
A parolee’s daughter is beaten by a parolee for talking obscenely.
In this cases, murder happens and the person who spoke obscenity also disappears. The film revolves around an angry female inspector (Keerthi Suresh) who returns to duty after being suspended for a crime she did not commit.
Jayam Ravi has acted as a middle-aged man in a different character, with a strong body and weight to the character, and makes the heart heavy in the sentimental scenes. A screenplay about what happens when power and politics combine with a murderous attitude.
Director Antony Bhagyaraj captures the current events and past events in a beautiful way in parallel cutting style. In fact, parallel cutting is a very good technique. Glad to see it after a long time. Kudos to Editor Reuben.
Similarly, we can praise the director for not disturbing us by showing a romantic smile between the prisoner and the policewoman at the end, and for putting only duty as Keerthy Suresh as No Love.
Music by GV Prakash is special. Sam CS Background Music OK Ragam .
Selvakumar’s cinematography and the director’s framing are special.
Keerthy Suresh has acted well. Alagamperumal is amazing. Yogi Babu makes you laugh.
Sign language for the speech impaired is well used
Product quality is also exceptional. The daughter’s anger towards her father has no legitimate reason, the female police officer who sees the prisoner as a villain despite knowing that he is a person like her, knowing that he is a caste-obsessed scoundrel and feeling ‘duty to save the higher police officer’, the female police officer who acts like Savitri who saves Satyawan, is a slack in the screenplay in the second part.
In the second part, although there are some flaws like slackness in the screenplay, Jayam Ravi’s acting, cinematography and parallel cutting are thrilling.
This makes the siren sound louder
