On the other side, in the same Kodaikanal, there's a police station where all the officers appear to be incompetent. Among them is the notorious constable Paval Navageethan, who is known for his excessive use of force—he will beat anyone, justifying it as "justice," whether it's warranted or not. At this point in the story, it becomes evident that Sathish is bound to cross paths with Navageethan. When Sathish finds himself in a tight spot, Navageethan catches him and intends to use the situation to his advantage.
