Protagonist Premgi, traveling on a two-wheeler in a no-man's land, sees a man murdered. Immediately the person drags the body to one side, takes the watch, mobile phone and small gold chain from the body and goes to hand it over to the police station. At the same time, the killers, who surrendered at the police station, said that the murdered man was wearing a lot of gold jewellery. Thus, the police suspect the innocent Premgi, where are the other jewels? What happened to the gold jewelry in the end to investigate him by asking that? What did the law do to the innocent Premgi? Director Suresh Sangaiah has told in Comedy way.
Premgi is the perfect choice for the role of Pradeep, an innocent young man . Although it is rare to see a person like Premgi who without any tension after seeing a person who is cut and dead, drags the body aside and hands over the nearby items to the police station, but Prem ji has added strength to the story by living in such a role as Pradeep and not as an actor.Swayam Siddha, who plays the heroine, is given less work than a song and a few scenes. Otherwise the story has nothing to do with him.
Both Sidhan Mohan and Selva Murugan, who are playing the roles of cops, are the other heroes of the film. Their stupidity causes the police to burst into bursts of laughter. Especially their dialogue delivery and natural acting add tremendous strength to the story.
Gnanasambandham, who is playing the role of a judge, is amazing by playing the role of the policemen who do not catch the real criminals but catch innocent people and collect money from them. The cinematography of the cinematographer RV Charan, who has traveled according to the story, has added strength to the film.
All the songs in Raghuram.M's music are catchy and the lyrics are understandable. The background music goes along with the visuals.
Director Suresh Sangaiah's point of view exposes the social woes and the way he plays it in a comical background is both laugh-out-loud and thought-provoking.
While the film is enjoyable due to the screenplay, visuals and the way the actors are employed, the way the film handles the police station and the events surrounding it defies logic and is not acceptable. The truth test makes us laugh.
