In the Royapuram area, a competition arises between two rowdy gangs over who will win the bid for a famous TASMAC bar. A clash between the two groups at the auction site leads to the bidding being postponed. The rivalry over who will win the bid becomes a significant challenge for both gangs. The court case over this issue drags on for years, and after the verdict is finally announced, another conflict erupts between the two factions. Meanwhile, a teacher fights against TASMAC, and the climax revolves around the outcome of her protest."

"There have been thousands of stories involving clashes between two rowdy gangs, but director Manipal has handled this one with a slightly different approach, ensuring it doesn’t blend into just another typical story. The film emphasizes that killing is wrong by showing a murder and then justifying the consequences through the court’s judgment. Similarly, the message that drinking is harmful is conveyed through 99% of the film’s scenes, where drinking and drunkenness are repeatedly shown. In the climax, the negative effects of drinking are explained. However, the way this message is reinforced with a sentimental touch is commendable and earns applause."

"Dheeren, who produced the film Vadakuppatti Ramasamy starring Santhanam, makes his debut as a hero in this film. With his tall and well-built physique, he impresses in action and dance sequences, showcasing a dynamic performance. Although his character falls in love with the teacher, played by Reshma, who vows to shut down the TASMAC shop, Dheeren struggles to express his emotions convincingly. He couldn’t deliver the required facial expressions to portray the love he feels for her. While his performance shines in action, it falls short when it comes to romance."

"Aruldoss and Charles Vinoth have portrayed the leaders of two rival gangs. The back-and-forth battles between the two gangs, with one gang trying to outwit the other, are captivating. When Charles uses a trick to win the bid for the liquor bar, Dheeren comes up with a counter-plan that leaves Charles struggling—this is well-executed.

Comedian Sridhar fills the void left by the absence of a primary comedian, delivering humor effectively. Sampath Ram, playing a police officer, initially shows loyalty to the gang leader but later turns into a real cop, pulling the gang leader by his shirt and dragging him away, displaying a strong transformation.

The film is produced by DG Vishwaprasad.

Director S.D. Manipal has blended the intended message with commercial elements and sentiment, making it a well-rounded presentation. The music and cinematography are decent.

The action sequences are plentiful and intense."
