Romeo Juliet
Ravi rocks
Romeo Juliet. Directed by S J Suryah’s protege Lakshman, is a rom-com and Jayam Ravi is back to play a lover boy role. Hansika and Poonam Bajwa play female leads.
Aishwarya (Hansika) and Karthik (Jayam Ravi) meet each other and it’s romance between them. Life goes well untill Aishwarya comes to know the truth Karthik is a gym instructor and no rich man. She actually wants to marry a billionaire.
She decides to break off with Karthik and prefers a rich man Aravind (Vamsi) and even gets engaged to him.
Now Karthi decides to take revenge on Aishwarya and threatens to break her relationship with Aravind. He entrusts Aishwarya with a job to find a suitable girl for him. What happens when she finds a girl for him forms the crux of the story.
It is a Jayam Ravi special. Hansika does a wonderful job. She is energetic. She has enough scope to act and proves her worth on screen.
The on-screen chemistry between the lead pair is good.
Poonam Bajwa chips in with her best. The racy number Dandanakka by Imman is good. Sundararajan’s cinematography is rich and glossy.
Interestingly, the movie begins on a brisk note.
