The actress says, “My journey with ‘Ramya Nambeesan Encore’ has been literally satisfying as I find myself imbibed to the love and warmth of people all over the world for my works. This indeed propelled me to proceed ahead and bring up something innovative. With a space like YouTube that offers me creative freedom, I have attempted making a short video titled ‘The Hide (UN) Learn’, which actually marks my debut as a director. The premise revolves around the crisis that women of our contemporary times face in the Indian society. Moreover, I am so much excited to present this as the first video in the newly launched YouTube channel, which is exclusively dedicated for Tamil contents. I believe, this short video wouldn’t be a stereotypical means of projecting the issue alone for it has some solution discussed towards the end as well. This YouTube channel will not feature short movies, but also have music, dance and many other diversified art forms through which I can express my creative potentials.”
Conceived, narrated and directed by Ramya Nambeesan, ‘The Hide (UN) – Learn’ is produced by Ramya Nambeesan Encore N Poetic Stories. Apart from handling these narrative and technical departments, Ramya Nambeesan has played the lead role alongside Sshritha Shivadas. Badri Venkatesh has written dialogues for this short video, which has cinematography handled by Neil Dcunha, musical score by Ramya Nambeesan’s brother Rahul Subramaniam and editing by Rojin Thomas.
