Rahman scores for Sachin
‘Sachin, Sachin…’ that’s how the second song from Sachin: A Billion Dreams starts. The first song from the album ‘Hind Mere Jind’ has already raised expectations from the audience.
During a recent interaction that featured both Sachin and Rahman, the cricketer said, “I admire the way that Rahman has created an inspirational anthem around this chant.”
The film, which is hugely anticipated in the cricketing circuit and among fans of the master blaster, has compositions by the Oscar winner. “I hope that this musical ode to fans of Sachin matches up to Sachin’s magical performances on the field. Creating the soundtrack for the film has been a memorable experience,” said Rahman during the interaction.
