Revenge drama
Papanasam is a simple family drama set in Thirunelveli. It revolves around Suyambu Lingam (Kamal Haasan). He lives with his wife Gauthami and daughters Niveda Thomas and Esther. One evil incident changes their lives.
How they overcome such a difficult situation is the plot here. It is a gripping and nerve-wrecking script and screenplay. Everything is thrilling and a sense of what's next is known to anyone.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, who helmed the original, Papanasam also has Gautami, Niveda Thomas, Asha Sarath, Baby Esther, Anand Mahadevan, MS Baskar, Kalabhavan Mani, Delhi Ganesh and many others to its star cast. The movie has music by Ghibran.

Asha Sarath and Anant Mahadevan besides Ilavarasan, M S Baskar and Delhi Ganesh does a great show. Gibran's songs are good.
Produced by Sripriya Rajkumar and George Pious, Papanasam is refreshingly different from regular mainstream masalas.
