‘Nibunan’
Taut thriller
Arjun is back in an investigative thriller Nibunan. Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan of Achchamundu Achchamundu fame, Arjun plays a crime branch officer in the film, who is in search for a serial killer.
Nibunan is produced by Passion Film Factory. Arvind Krishna has cranked the camera for the film and Navin has composed the music. Apart from Arjun, Sruthi Hariharan of Lucia fame plays Arjun’s wife in the film while Prasanna, Varalakshmi and Vaibhav are also playing pivotal roles.Suhasini and
Suman are also in the cast.
The highlight of the movie is its screenplay. It is grippig from the word go.
Arjun delivers a stout performance. He is ably assisted by Prasanna and Varalaxmi.
Arun Vaidyanathan made a smashing Tamil directorial debut a few years with a film called Achchamundu Achchamundu, a social thriller set in the US and centred on a pedophile.
Arjun who plays Ranjith Kalidoss, in pursuit of a serial killer. Arjun suffers from a rare disease. How he goes about with the help of his subordinates forms the rest.
All the characters play their part well. The music and camera give more strength.
Nibunan is a movie that is gripping.
