The opening ceremony of Mayavaram Pictures and the pooja of ‘Kagangal’ was held today
Today, our film production company ‘Mayavaram Pictures’ was launched with the aim of creating new aesthetics and initiatives in film art in Tamil land, which is rich in literature and cultural integrity.
‘Kagagal’ is the first production of Mayavaram Pictures. How men of different faiths are joined at one point by crows; The film’s story – screenplay – and light and sound patterns are set to reveal how one life is interwoven with another, how nature in its ‘mysterious way’ drives common life.
Kishore, Lijomol Jose, Vidharth, Guru Somasundaram, Yogi Babu, Prince and others are playing the lead roles.
The film is written, produced and directed by Anand Annamalai, with cinematography by Saravanan Ilachasamu, music by MS Krishna, art direction by Ramu Thangaraj, sound design by Anthony PJ Ruben and costume design by Deena Rosario.
The crew has said that the shooting of the film will take place in Chennai and its surrounding areas after the Pongal festival
