Jiiva's Thirunaal is being shot in and around Kumbakonam.
Stunt sequences were shot in the streets when a real fight between two groups happened. The crew filmed that too. The movei is directed by Ambasamudram Ambani- fame Ramnath has been titled Thirunaal. The shooting will begin soon at Kumbakonam. Sources say that it is a rural mass entertainer with comedy and action. After Thenavattu, Jivva plays a rustic rural youth in the film. Nayanthara plays the female lead and she will join the sets by May-end. Music is by Sri. Jiiva and Nayanthara acted together in E earlier. The movie is produced by M Senthilkumar for Kothandapani Films.
