Iraivan

Jayam Ravi and Naren are both friends who are policemen. Naren lives with wife Vijayalakshmi, child and younger sister Nayanthara. In this situation, young women have been brutally murdered and dumped in various parts of the city. Jayam Ravi and Naren team are investigating this. At one point Naren is killed is Killer arrested and jailed. Jayam Ravi leaves the police because of his friend's Death. In this situation, the killer who escapes from jail kidnaps the daughter of another friend of Jayam Ravi. Jayam Ravi is searching for the culprit unofficially. While searching, he gets another startling information. What information is that? Who is the real culprit? What happened in the end is the story of Iaraivan.

It seems that Jayam Ravi has acted in the film without any hate. He has followed the same facial expressions in his earlier films. Being a psycho killer makes the audience cringe when it looks like he's killing brutally. Each scene is full of conflict as the murders follow. Naren has performed well even though he has been around for a while. Psycho killer Rahul Bose threatens with his eyes. Vinod, another killer who comes after the break, is well acted but keeps yelling the name Psycho which makes the go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go. It is not known how Nayanthara agreed to act in the film. Vijayalakshmi, Charlie, Alagam Perumal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Bucks all come and go. No matter how hard Yuvan Shankar Raja tried, he could not save the film. Songs are fast. They have dutifully taken a psycho thriller story without doing any research.

The entire second half is an unnecessarily nail-biting test of patience.
