Maestro Ilayaraja, who was taking rest after undergoing treatment for
cardiac arrest, is back at work. On Monday, he composed music for
Rajaraja Cholanin Porvaal.
The film has lyricist Snehan playing the protagonist and the period
movie was launched some time back in Thanjavur, it is to be noted.
On Monday, Ilayaraja recorded a song for the movie, much to the
delight of Snehan and others. ‘It was a beautiful song with Raja’s
unique stamp’.
Ilayaraja suffered mild heart attack a couple of weeks ago when he was
at work. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital where he was
under treatment for few days, and returned home later.
