Mega Surya Movies A.M. Ratnam presents
A.M. Jothi Krishna Directorial
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s “Hari Hara Veeramallu” Press Meet!
Producer A.M. Rathnam, the well-celebrated pillar of South Indian Movie Industry, and the creator of ‘Blockbuster Movies’ across the decades is all set to enthrall the Indian audiences with his ambitious big-budgeted film ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu’ produced on a grand scale. The film is directed by A.M. Jothi Krishna, featuring Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role with Niddhi Agerwal playing the female lead and Bobby Deol as the antagonist. Sathyaraj, Nasser, Redin Kingsley, Vennela Kishore and many others will be seen performing pivotal roles in this movie. With a new song ‘Taara Taara’ being launched, the makers of this film along with the cast and crew attended the press meet in Chennai….
Here are some excerpts from the event….
Producer AM Rathnam said, “Cinema is always beyond profession as it imparts lots of life lessons. I came across many incidents, where someone, who casually met me during a flight journey told me that he saw my ‘Indian’ movie 25 times and moistened my eyes stating that he started his career with a remuneration of Rs.1500 and developed in his career without taking any bribes. My other film ‘Vyjayanthi IPS’ paved way for appointment of many women police officers. So I have always been inclined with respect to film industry for it has gifted me such priceless endowments. The reason behind the long shooting process of Hari Hara Veeramallu is because we want to give something unique and phenomenal to the audiences. We have crafted this film with so much focus, and dedication. We are making this film in two different parts, and the first installment will have so much entertainment and so will be second part. I am so happy about my son A.M. Jothi Krishna, and his sheer passion for cinema is inevitable. During his youth days, he conceptualised the storyline of ‘Natpukkaaga’ and convinced K.S. Ravikumar sir to make this film. I am so happy that he is making a big-budgeted Pan-Indian film with such a big league of actors and technicians. Pawan Kalyan sir is such a unique breed of actor, who has so much sound knowledge about technical aspects like Kamal Haasan. He has now become a politician and Deputy C.M, but still is nervous like an actor in beginning stage, and takes additional care in asking how’s the film shaping up stage by stage. A.M. Jothi Krishna is working day and night for this film, and I am sure that it will become an awe-inspiring film. It was a great experience working with Sathyaraj sir and Nasser sir. We worked a lot on making sure that the song has original Tamil native elements, and I’m happy that it has been very well received now. I always make sure that technicians get equal substantiality like actors. The inception of Hari Hara Veeramallu to be directed by A.M. Jothi Krishna was destiny’s choice. Initially, ‘Jilla’ fame Nesan was supposed to direct, and it was delayed due to some reasons and then ‘Krish’ crafted a big story, and again due to pandemic reasons got delayed. Finally, this project is helmed by A.M. Jothi Krishna. I hope and believe that Pan-Indian audiences will love this film, especially Tamil audiences will like and appreciate it. Thank You all.”
Director K.S. Ravikumar said, “I can easily foresee the future of success for A.M. Ratnam sir as the film’s delay has now resulted in such a big impact. I have worked on three projects in a single year with AM Ratnam sir, and those days are totally unforgettable. When A.M. Jothi Krishna narrated the story of ‘Natpukkaga’, I was surprised and A.M. Jothi even took part in the discussion of Padaiyappa script works. Now the cinema has entered new phase, and I am so glad that A.M. Jothi Krishna has made a stupendous film with brilliant VFX works on a grand scale. I wish all the best to AM Ratnam sir and A.M. Jothi Krishna along with entire crew for a great success.”
B. Sakthivelan, Sakthi Film Factory said, “Just like how hero names on big screens get clap, AM Ratnam created such a scenario, where audience clap and whistle for his name and banner name on the cinema screen. He made Indian 20 years ago just not for the sake of money, but it was made for the sheer passion he had for cinema. AM Ratnam sir has made movies that have been trendsetting and groundbreaking in the Indian film industry. AM Ratnam sir is the reason behind the theaters installing DTS technology in the theaters as he introduced the concept. I had the gift and opportunity of learning the art of cinema from AM Ratnam sir from my early days in the industry. I wish a huge success to the entire team and A.M. Jothi Krishna. Thank You All.”
Director K.R. said, “A.M. Rathnam just now listed the blockbuster movies he has produced, but only I know that he hasn’t made any property or wealth out of it. He will definitely overcome all the hurdles and achieve more success with this film. Hari Hara Veeramallu is going to be a blockbuster. Pawan Kalyan has been helping a lot in shaping this project to a greater magnitude. A.M. Jothi Krishna is really doing a great job as a filmmaker. M.M. Keeravani is such an amazing music director, and this song looks like a fresh Tamil number rather than sounding like a Telugu track. I wish the whole crew, a huge success.”
Actor Nasser said, “I visited the first day shooting of Hari Hara Veeramallu, and A.M. Jothi Krishna was spotted with a smile, and I was shocked to see there wasn’t any property within the studio. Although, he promised me the finest visual output, I had a doubt until l was proved wrong with magnetising visuals during the dubbing process. Manoj Paramahamsa is a visual magician, and it was really a robotic movement on the sets as there would be multiple cameras moving at different angles, and we would be confused to focus on which one. Since Pawan Kalyan sir is so much busy with the political works, he could allot only few hours during his call sheet for a day, and we being the co-stars would be present. Despite the tough challenges, A.M. Jothi Krishna handled and shaped the project efficiently. I am sure that Part 2 will be more grandeur than the first part.”
Actor Sathyaraj said, “When I joined the sets of Hari Hara Veeramallu, I was so much enthralled with the Visual planning of A.M. Jothi Krishna and how he is going to shape and bring out the output. I was stunned by his making style.” He continued to add jokingly, “Niddhi Aggarwal shouldn’t mistake me, but I am the heroine of this film as Pawan Kalyan’s total focus and search is to save me in this film unlike other movies, where heroes go on mission to save the heroine. This film is going to b a lovely experience for the audiences.”
Story & Screenwriter Boopathy Raja said, “It’s been a 5 year journey with A.M. Jothi Krishna working on story and screenplay. This film is about delivering a precious and priceless thing from one place to another destination and challenges Pawan Kalyan sir faces during this journey. I am the son of famous dialogue writer Bala Murugan, who wrote dialogues for ‘Vasantha Maaligai’. I have known Pawan Kalyan for past 30 years from the time I worked with Chiranjeevi sir. Pawan sir despite the years and decades, remains the same with character and nature. A.M. Jothi Krishna and AM Ratnam sir would be fighting and conflicting for many budget and production values, but when we go to the sets, AM Ratnam would have spent more budget than discussed. MM Keeravani is such a big pillar to this film, and this movie has technically excelled. Pawan Kalyan’s character will go through the different transformations in this movie. Top technicians from the Indian film industry have worked in this movie. I am so glad to be a part of this prestigious project. Thank you all.”
Actor Thalaivasal Vijay said, “It’s a very crucial role that I am playing in this movie. It’s a pivotal role and I am glad that both AM Rathnam and A.M. Jothi sir have given this chance to me. I thank Keeravani sir and all the team members for this opportunity. I believe Hari Hara Veeramallu is going to be a trendsetting and groundbreaking movie in the Indian film industry. Thank You all.”
Actor Redin Kingsley said, “I thank Pawan sir, AM Rathnam sir, A.M. Jothi sir and Niddhi ma’am for this opportunity. KR sir just now told that AM Rathnam sir’s dedication beyond the production is prevalent in many movies. He choreographed half the song alongside Shobhi master for this song. He is a Jack of all Trade. Thank you all for the opportunity.”
Choreographer Shobhi said, “It’s great and happy to be a part of this project, especially this song. There are three guest appearances in this song that includes Kingsley, Axar Ali and Vennela Kishore for the Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions. I am already confident that it’s going to be a big hit movie in the Telugu industry, and I request the Tamil press and media friends to make this film’s Tamil version a big success as well. Thank you all.”
Actress Nidhi Agerwal said, “Rathnam sir is the most passionate person in the film industry and cinema that I have met in my entire life. He will be the first person to arrive on the sets and last one to leave the sets. He need not do it, but he took more care and involvement for this project. More than me, this film is going to be a special and big success for his dedication for this movie. A.M. Jothi Krishna was so easy to work with and he was thoroughly supportive throughout the film’s shooting. MM Keeravani sir is a blessing to this film, and it’s gladdening to dance for his tunes. Manoj sir is one of the best DOPs I have worked in my career. Kingsley and I have worked few shots together. This film is an emotional journey for me, and I have literally grown up working in this film for past 5 years. I have strong belief and trust on the story, direction and entire team that it’s going to be a tremendous success. Thank you all.”
Music Director M.M. Keeravani said, “This entire film is such a precious experience to work with. Balachander sir is the most important person in my life and I will be grateful for the opportunities he gave me in this film. I have tried given a powerful music and mixing for the image of ‘Power Star Pawan Kalyan’. We have broken the regular musical and mixing patterns. Many are saying that I have done a good job for this film and it was possible because of the creative freedom I got from A.M. Jothi Krishna sir. This film should be a big success for A.M. Rathnam sir commercially. Thank you all.”
Director A.M. Jothi Krishna said, “I got little occupied with the Telugu industry for a while, and I am totally happy to meet my Tamil press and media friends after a long time. I took 8 years from directorial journey and that’s because of Ajith Kumar sir. He advised me stating that “Your father is getting aged, and you’ll have to be supportive in his production venture. When I asked him I don’t have any actor’s date, He promised and gave 3 back-to-back projects: Arrambam, Yennai Arindhaal and Vedalam. It’s because of him, I was able to revive the ‘Sri Suriya Movies’. I didn’t get a chance to show my gratitude and thank him, and now I am doing it. Thank you Ajith sir for this wonderful opportunity. Similarly, when I met Pawan Kalyan sir, he told me that he was a great fan of my father, and agreed to do this film. This is how Hari Hara Veeramallu happened. He took so much laborious efforts for this film, and his stunts are going to be on par with Bruce Lee’s Enter The Dragon. This story is set against the 16th century backdrop and Bobby Deol is playing the Aurangzeb role. There has been a divine intervention in the process of creating this film, and I am so happy to be working with the country’s biggest names like Manoj Paramahamsa, M.M. Keeravani sir and nearly 1000 animators. Niddhi Aggarwal is such a professional artiste, who matched up the real challenges on the sets with her spontaneous acting. I thank all my friends present here. I request you all to support and make this film, a memorable success for all of us in the team. Thank You.”
