Gatta Gusthi
Director Chella Ayyavu’s Gatta Gusthi speaks in a funny tone about women treated in family. How their passion are buried. The movie stars Vishnu Vishal, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Karunaas, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Redin Kingsley among others, has music by Justin Prabhakaran.
Aishwarya Lakshmi is an aspiring Gatta Gusthi champ in Palakkad and her family members are worried as it may affect her wedding. Their attempts to find her a suitable guy ends in vain. Her uncle Munishkanth hides about her clamour for Gatta Kusthi and gets her married to Vishnu Vishal. The latter under the influence of his uncle Karunaas have a different opinion on women. He is advised to keep women under check. But things turn other way. And it so happens, she had to use her Gusthi skills to save Vishnu Vishal from trouble. The cat and mouse game begins between the two leading to separations . Vishnu Vishal decides to settle score on wrestling floor.
Vishnu Vishal plays his part well. Aishwarya Lakshmi is the highlight. She is all throughout. She dazzles. Karunaas,, Kali Venkat chip in well. Justin Prabha karan music is engaging.
All said Gatta Gusthi is a sports film but champions the cause of women.
