In a private school run by Mime Gopi, a student suddenly disappears. Catherine Tresa, who works as a teacher in the same school, senses a mystery behind her disappearance.
At that time, Sundar C, who is in the police force, begins investigating this case. However, acting like an undercover cop, he joins the same school as a PT master.It is then that many secrets are revealed to him. He learns that Mime Gopi and Aruldoss, who run the school, are not only involved in the water business but also in the liquor business and are even addicting many school students to drugs.
Furthermore, he discovers the secret of a locker where they have stashed ₹ 100 crore. The story then follows the illogical comedic magic of his plans to take this money with his 'Gangsters' (Gangers) team, which includes Catherine, Vadivelu, Munishkanth, and Bucks.
Director Sundar C has divided the film's first half for action and the second half for sentiment and comedy. Sundar has scored well in the action sequences and handed over the comedy reins to Vadivelu. Both have hit centuries (performed exceptionally well).Vadivelu, as the character Singaram, unleashes a downpour of laughter. Even though his body language isn't the old Vadivelu, he rocks with his timing comedy.Bucks' lady getup and his facial expressions are on another level.
Catherine Tresa plays the responsible teacher role. She will heat up the fans with her beauty and glamour.Harish Peradi doesn't have much work. His dialogues, spoken through gritted teeth, are incomprehensible. Even if he opened his mouth a little, we might be able to understand based on lip movements.
The character Vani, full of beauty and talent, has been wasted. Even in her brief appearance of a couple of minutes, her performance makes us say, "Vaa Nee Vani" (Come on, Vani!).Mime Gopi and Aruldoss are menacing in their villainous roles.
Sundar C has taken on three roles for this "Gangers" film: actor, director, and producer.
As always with Sundar C's films, all the things that fans expect are there. Logic should be set aside, but you can definitely enjoy and come out entertained – something Sundar has been delivering for 30 years. 
No comedian who has acted in his films has ever failed. Be it Goundamani, Santhanam, Vivek, or Vadivelu, Sundar C's films are always a comedy treat.The second half has increased the pace in both comedy and screenplay compared to the first half. Especially Vadivelu's old lady getup brings a rain of comedy.Sathya has composed the music. While the songs haven't gained much attention, Catherine's dance number is enjoyable. The composer has rocked the background score in the fight sequences with "Masan" music.
Even though there are some logical loopholes in the ₹ 100 crore locker heist, director Sundar C has made us laugh, saying, "Oh, come on! What's with the logic? I guarantee comedy!"
