Pradeep scores 96% in Plus 2 exams and becomes a topper. During his school days, he falls for a fellow student one-sidedly. When he approaches her to express his love, she tells him that he doesn’t suit her because she prefers someone who is more macho than he appears to be. Upon hearing this, Pradeep narrates what happened to V.J. Sithu and decides to transform into a more poised person in college. With Anu Pama falling for him upon seeing his charisma, Pradeep, who was once a top student, evolves into a rowdy in college. By the end of his college term, he fails all four years of study and secures 48 arrears. As a result, his girlfriend Anu Pama leaves him. Heartbroken, Pradeep resolves to succeed in life and takes shortcuts to advance, which eventually leads to danger. How he escapes this peril is beautifully and intensely portrayed by director Ashwath.

A major strength of the film is director Mishkin, who portrays a college professor. He gracefully steers the film's story forward, convincingly appearing as a real professor. His splendid acting keeps the film moving.Mariam, who plays Pradeep's father, touches the heart. He performs as if having such a father would be a blessing. All other cast members have contributed immensely with genuine effort.
Sithu and Harshad Khan are to be called a comedy feast. Another strength of the film is music director Leon James, with both the songs and the background score being excellent. Director Ashwath Marimuthu will surely savor his second success. His precise storytelling, wonderful screenplay, and scene-by-scene engagement make us appreciate it, along with delivering a highly emotional narrative. He is making a name as another prominent director in Tamil cinema.
