A small poor family consisting of a husband, wife and one son lives in a village called Thanaur in Madurai district.
Husband works as a delivery man in a courier company. Wife does housework.
It is the time when the town is preparing to celebrate the festival of Diwali. , son's favorite police suit for a long time, wife's favorite saree, crackers, expenses for various things.. The husband believes that his bonus will be given for all this. So his friend looks for a job in a Diwali clothing store that opens up by the roadside.
There was a shocking incident… and what happened after that is the story.
Vikrant is playing the role of the head of the family. The affection he shows for his wife and son…the pulse beating for the bonus, the disappointment of not getting it, the shock when he suddenly gets into trouble, he is acting wonderfully.
Especially.. after being kicked in the police station and then released… he takes the money from his pocket and puts it on the inspector's table and says, "This is not mine"… Great acting!
Similarly, Rithvika has lived as the head of the family. Wanting to buy a helmet for her husband… running for it.. disappointed in not being able to buy it.. missing her husband… ah.. this is an important film for Ritwika.
There is the boy Harish Asathi who plays the role of their son. He is expressing his longing for new clothes and shoes in an unmistakable way in his eyes and voice. Compliments.
Music by Maria Gerald is enjoyable. Also the background music is awesome. In fact, music also runs through the film as a character. Awesome.
Cinematographer Gautham Sethuraman has brought Madurai as never seen before, instead of the scenes that are usually shown as a symbol of Madurai. That too, the way Tiruparankunram and surrounding areas are presented is amazing.
Cinematography by Parthiv Murugan is perfect.
Director Jayapal J. has conquered the lives of the common people and their aspirations realistically.
Despite working hard throughout the year, the state of poverty does not change.. An environment where even a single festival cannot be celebrated peacefully.. He has expressed this wonderfully.
At the same time, a positive result that gives confidence at the end is special!
A must watch movie for everyone. Especially the middle class
