Even so, the screenplay is a bit too rich and the film lags. With a good star cast, if the screenplay is focused on, this film would have been a huge hit, but the film is enjoyable.
If we say that the greatest strength of the film is that Urvashi has played the role of a woman who had a lot of devotion to God, she has fulfilled the director’s intention very wonderfully.
Raju Varghese, who plays the son of Ravi, is his first film in Tamil, but he has acted brilliantly in Malayalam. I have to say that Raju Varghese has given an amazing performance in this film, the scene where the invisible man comes at night, the pain in the woman when she sees him, and the scenes where he plays with Kalaiyarasan, he has done a wonderful job.
Kalaiyarasan is emerging as a leading actor not only in Tamil but also in Malayalam and this film is a witness to that. In this film he has acted as a Tamilian and has done his role very well.
Guru Somasundaram comes as Urvashi’s husband. Even though he doesn’t have a big scene in the film, he does a good job with what he’s given, which makes it seem like he could have used a better actor.
