Brother Jayam Ravi plays the character Karthik, who is free-spirited and rebellious, not one to be easily confined. Although he is a student at a law college, he doesn’t take his studies seriously. Karthik’s sister, Bhoomika, has two children and is very fond of her brother. When Bhoomika comes to visit from their hometown, she decides to take Karthik back with her, hoping to reform him and make him a better person. However, even during his stay at his sister’s house, Karthik’s words and actions earn him the ire and disdain of the family. As a result, Bhoomika finds herself in a position where she may have to leave her family because of Karthik’s disruptive influence. The blame for the family’s separation falls on Jayam Ravi’s character, which leads everyone to despise him. Amid this turmoil, the backstory of who Jayam Ravi is unfolds as a shocking subplot. As he comes to terms with his identity, he is filled with guilt and shame. Natti, with an ambiguous appearance, plays Bhoomika’s husband, while Rao Ramesh takes on a character that casts a negative shadow in the storyline. VTV Ganesh makes a brief yet humorous appearance.
Director M. Rajesh attempts to explore how ego clashes between families lead to their eventual separation. While he may have envisioned interesting scenarios, the film occasionally lacks impactful scenes that truly engage the audience. With such a talented cast, there seems to be untapped potential for their performances to shine even more.Harris Jayaraj provides music with catchy tunes that resonate throughout the film. Cinematographer Vivekanand’s work aligns with the director’s vision, effectively capturing the narrative.
