Directed by Vinil Scariah Varghese and starring Kalidas Jayaram, Namitha Pramod, Saiju Group, Ashwin Kumar, Reba John, Aval Peyar Rajni is the movie released.
Husband and wife Saiju kurup and Namita Pramod are traveling in a car when a female figure brutally kills Saiju kurup. Kalidas Jayaram, who happens to be Namitha Pramod's brother, starts investigating who committed the murder. The female figure then tries to kill Namitha Brahmot too.
Why did that female figure kill the Saiju kurup ? Did Kalidas Jayaram save Namitha Brahmot or not? What is the reason for the murder is the rest of the story of the film. Kalidas Jayaram is the hero of the story. The heroism peeked through here and there could have been toned down a bit. Both the heroines enjoy what they are given in moderation.
The flashback scenes are the biggest strength of the film. The director has brought the life of transgenders and given their pain strongly. The person who played a transgender kept adding strength to the scene. He has also shown action in action. Ashwin Kumar, who plays the role of a police officer, has also suited the role perfectly.
The director has also exposed the mood of the society. The slow moving story picks up pace in the second half. The speed of the screenplay has drawn us into the story. Apart from that, the background score of the film is very strong. The footage of the search for the killer is creating excitement.
The cinematography keeps the scenes enjoyable by giving light in moderation. The strength of the film is that the story moves quickly due to the intensity of the scenes. Both the Rajini poster visuals and the BG score for it are jaw-dropping. All in all, her name is Rajni – beautiful, loving, delightful
