'A.R.M' is an abbreviation of the Malayalam word Ajayan Rendam Moshonam (Ajayan's Second Theft).
The story takes place in three time periods: 1900, 1950 and 1990.
Tovino Thomas snatches a miraculous lamp from the king for the benefit of the people, a miracle lamp created in 1900. So he got the title of thief. Its impact continues to his son and grandson.
The one who wants to steal the lamp during the grandson's time tends to do it with the grandson.

Kriti Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh and Surabi Lakshmi are the three heroines. Tovino Thomas alone can play three roles and his credit is to have different heroines for all the three roles. Good for the film. Those heroines have also acted flawlessly and saved the film.
Basil Joseph, Rohini, Harish Uthman, Nishtar Syed, Jagadish, Pramod Shetty, Aju Varghese and others are in the film. Harish Uthman gets extra attention for his villainy. Music composer Dibu Ninan Thomas has songs including Poove Poove that are delightful.The background score also helps to distinguish the periods. Cinematographer Joman D. John has tried to give a great visual experience and it has paid off.
Film editor Sameer Mohammad has added strength to the screenplay which may slip a little and cause confusion.
Fight training director Vikram More and Lord of the Phoenix, PV Sivakumar gurus who designed the Kalari fight scenes are great strengths for Tovino Thomas.
Ramesh, Akaran and Kailash's dialogues are good. People's mood is aptly expressed.
Debut director Jitin Lal has directed the film. It is a good strategy to start the film with the grandmother narrating the story.
