Jegaveer and Meenakshi have been inseparable friends since their school days. Even as they grew older, they maintained their friendship as something sacred. However, some people misunderstood their relationship and pressured them to get married. They refused and decided to search for siblings living under the same roof who they could marry. At one point, such a family is about to be formed, so Jegaveer and Meenakshi, along with their families, go to discuss an alliance. The climax provides the answer as to whether this plan is fulfilled.
Unlike usual films, director Suseenthiran has crafted a slightly different love story, which is a 2K Kids love story. The first half of the film progresses with the bravado of the Jews. The jokes delivered by Bala Saravanan in the Jegaveer-Meenakshi duo make the audience burst into laughter. Seeing Jegaveer and Meenakshi developing a close bond, not just those around them but even their parents believe they are in love and give the green light for their marriage. Hearing this, both are shocked. There's a certain interest in waiting until the climax to find out if the prediction that they will eventually marry is correct or not.
Before we learn whether Jegaveer and Meenakshi will get married, Suseenthiran has created a series of comedic scenes that explode in succession.
The antics at the wedding house led by Singampuli's gang, followed by scenes where they end up fleeing after being beaten, all make for a side-splitting comedy. Singampuli's gang tries to stop the wedding by sending in comedians who fail each time but return to the wedding house after freshening up to cause more chaos, adding to the comedic drama. GB Muthu, dressed in pants and a shirt, makes you wonder who this new comedian is. If he had been in his usual costume of a dhoti and shirt, speaking his original YouTube dialogues, it would have been an added bonus. Bala Saravanan, appearing as a 2K kid, humorously mocks Antony Bhagyaraj, who plays a 90s kid. The small twists included by director Suseenthiran keep the scenes from being boring. D. Imman's music vastly contributes to the film. All the songs are enjoyable and can make you tap your feet. Cinematographer Anand Krishna has artistically painted each colorful shot. G. Dhananjayan has released the film. 2K Love Story – A Saga of Friendship.
