இந்த படத்தில் கதாநாயகனாக வீரா என்ற புதுமுகம் அறிமுகமாகிறார். இவர் கூத்து பட்டறையில் நடிப்பு பயின்றவர்.
கதாநாயகியாக மகிமா நடிக்கிறார். மற்றும் பசுபதி, ஜோமல்லூரி, சென்ட்ராயன், எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர், தங்கஸ்வாமி, மீனாள் , யார் கண்ணன், மதுமிதா, சிசர் மனோகர், ரிந்துரவி, பிரேம் ஆகியோர் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

என் கதைகளில் வாழ்கையின் பதிவுகள் இருக்க வேண்டு என்று நினைக்கிறன். எனவே எங்கள் ஊரில் நான் கண்ட மனிதர்களையும் அவர்கள் மூலம் நடந்த சம்பவங்களையும்,சுக துக்கங்களையும் சுவாரஸ்யமான நகைச்சுவை உணர்வுகளையும் திரைக்கதையாக பதிவு செய்திருக்கிறேன்.
நான் பார்த்த மனிதர்களில் மொசக்குட்டி என்ற பாலா கதாபாத்திரத்தை வீர என்ற நாயகனை கொண்டும், கயல் என்ற கயல்விழி கதாபாத்திரத்தை மகிமா என்ற நாயகியைக் கொண்டும் உருவாக்கி இருக்கிறேன். உப்புத்தரை காசியாக பசுபதியும்,விருமாண்டியாக ஜோமல்லூரியும் இந்த கதையில் வாழ்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள். மற்றும் எங்கள் ஊரில் சினிமா வாசனை இல்லாத மனிதர்களையும் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்க வைத்திருக்கிறேன் என்கிறார் இயக்குனர்.
