Meyadha Maan, based on short film Madhu is a romantic – comedy. Produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films, the movie is directed by newcomer Rathna Kumar.
It stars Vaibhav, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek Prasanna, Indhuja and Arun Prasath among others. Music is by Pradeep Kumar and Santosh Narayanan. People call Murali (Vaibhav) as Idhayam Murali for he keeps his love for his classmate Madhumitha (Priya Bhavani Shankar) close to his heart and never reveals it to her. One fine morning, coming to know that her marriage has been arranged with a NRI, he decides to take the extreme step.
Shocked by his act, his friends take the help of Madhumitha. But fate has other plans. What happens in their lives and does the couple come together form the crux.
Vaibhav is the stalk and cheese of the movie. He as a north Chennai boy in the film is good. His role as Idhayam Murali is written good. Priya BHavani sankar exzcels.
