G. V. Prakash (Rocket Raja), who is a lethargic guy, which he made a gang of friends and with all sorts miscellaneous Rocket seizes all vehicles to help a pawnbroker. On another side, MG Rajendran (Parthiban), who is a humanitarian even die hard fan of MGR. Initially, both were Tom and Jerry until Rocket Raja’s father killed in a puzzled manner.
In the parallel, Rocket Raja keeps affairs with a same area girl Kamala (Palak Lalwani), their love has been aggressive once matured lady enter in the slum Mary (Poonam Bajwa), which the young couple’s life puts upside down.
With the concept of slum dwellings and their lifetime struggling were stuffed in the first half and in the second half an adverse consequences interrupt in the life of slum dwellers. Finally, Rocket Raja and Kamal love life getting into peaceful manner and wrongdoing were identified by the Rocket and Rajendran, both silently murdered the culprit.
சென்னை குப்பத்தில் வாழும் சில குடிசை வாசிகளின் வாழ்வில் நிகழும் அமைதியின்மையை சில சமூக விரோத சக்திகள் எவ்வாறு உருவாக்குகின்றன என்பதே படத்தின் கதை.படத்தின் நாயகனாக ஜி.வி.பிரகாஷ் குப்பத்து ராஜா ராக்கெட் என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். இவர் சேட்டு கடையில் வண்டி சீஸ் செய்யும் வேலை செய்கிறார். குப்பத்தில் வாழ்ந்தாலும் குடிகார அப்பா எம்எஸ் பாஸ்கர், நண்பர்கள், காதலி என மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறார்.ஆரம்பம் முதலே அந்த பகுதியில் பெரிய கையான பார்த்திபனுடன் ஜீவிக்கு அடிக்கடி மோதல் ஏற்படுகிறது. இதனால் ஊர் கவுன்சிலர், வேறு சில ரௌடிகளுடனும் அவருக்கு பகை வளர்கிறது.ஒரு சமயத்தில் எதிரிகள் கங்கணம் கட்டிக்கொண்டு ஜீவி பிரகாஷின் அப்பா எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கரை கொலை செய்துவிடுகிறாரகள். அதற்காக பார்த்திபன் உட்பட பலர் மீதும் சந்தேகப்படுகிறார் ஜீ.வி பிரகாஷ்.பார்த்திபன், படம் முழுக்க கையில் இரண்டு எம்ஜிஆர் புகைப்படம் போட்ட பெரிய மோதிரத்தோடு பந்தாவாக சுற்றுகிறார். எம்ஜிஆர் ரசிகர் என காட்டுவதால் என்னமோ அவரை மக்களுக்காக ஓடி ஓடி உழைப்பவர் போல காட்டியுள்ளார் இயக்குனர்.
