The expectations involving Kalavani 2 have been hitting the right meters on the radar. The reason is that the first installment in the franchise had its decorous impact upon family audiences. Especially with the lead pair Vemal and Oviya coming together again, the anticipations have been on the perfect notes. Recently, the lead pair was filmed together for a song ‘Ottaram Pannadha’ in a village near Thanjavur.It is to be noted that this song is also written by ManiAmuthavan whose earlier song “Alunguren kulunguren” had literally stormed the You Tube channel with a whopping record smashing views of more than two and half crores. Director Sargunam and his team decided to shoot this song in the backdrops of an ancient house. Significantly, Art director Gunasekaran T came up with real life replica of such an ancient house, which would be one of the beautiful cherry picks in this film.
The shooting of Kalavani 2 is getting close on the heels of completion and would be wrapped upon June 22. Director Sargunam ever energetic and focussed on completing the film on time is said to be working against the clock and the result is Kalavani 2 is all set to steal the attention of the audience, very shortly.
Almost all the actors in the first part would be seen essaying the same roles. However, actor Soori wouldn’t be a part of this film and RJ Vignesh has been roped in for playing Vemal’s close friend.

இறுதிகட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு பணிகளில் இருக்கும் களவாணி 2 படத்தின் மொத்த படப்பிடிப்பும் ஜூன் 22ஆம் தேதி முடிய இருக்கிறது. எப்போதும் உத்வேகத்துடன் படத்தை முடிப்பதில் கவனத்தோடு இருக்கும் இயக்குனர் சற்குணம், மிக கடுமையாக இரவு பகல் பாராமல் உழைத்து வருகிறார். அதன் பலன் தான் களவாணி 2 ரசிகர்களின் இதயங்களை கூடிய விரைவில் திருட இருக்கிறது.
ஏறக்குறைய முதல் பாகத்தில் நடித்த அத்தனை நடிகர்களும், அதே கதாபாத்திரத்தில் இந்த படத்திலும் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆயினும் நடிகர் சூரி இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்கவில்லை, ஆர்ஜே விக்னேஷ் நாயகன் விமலின் நெருங்கிய நண்பராக நடிக்கிறார்.
