KAVIYA THALAIVAN
Kaviya thalaivan is the first movie in which director Vasantha balan and music director A.R.Rahman has committed to work together.
In this venture director vasantha balan has come up with a powerpacked combo of biggest artists like Siddharth , Prithviraj, Vedhika, Nasser, Thambi ramaiyah, mansoor ali khan, singam puli, ponvannan and few others.
After a long time interval Isai puyal A.R.Rahman has joined hands with a younger generation film-maker through this movie.
As for as the movie is considered to be portrayal of the lives of theatre artists, make-up plays a vital role in this whole script. Hence, our south-india’s best make-up artist Mr.Pattanam rasheed was made to work as a make-up designer for this movie.
The research work for this script has been carried away for nearly a year and lots of facts, references and whereabouts have been collected from the veteran theatre artists belonging to different theatre clubs existing in Madurai, dindugul, karur and pudhukottai etc.
This is the first movie in which the actor Siddharth and actor prithviraj both sharing the same screen space.
Following her remarkable acting in Paradesi, kaviya thalaivan will be a much bigger comeback for Vedhika in a female lead role.
After working in Madrasapattinam, this movie is the second period film for the india’s most wanted cinematographer Mr.Nirav shah.
The heroin of Ramgopal varmas “Satya 2” , Miss.Anaika sodi has been introduced to tamil industry as an another heroin in Kaviya thalaivan.
As the movie resembles the lives of theatre artists, there are lots of original theatre artists have been involved to work in this movie.
The Last song penned by kavignar Vaali before he passed away was the song called “Krishna Vijayam”, which is for this movie Kaviya thalaivan.
Also the late choreographer Mr.Raghuram master has composed choreography for two of the songs in this movie.
This movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages simultaneously.
Mr.Perumal selvam and Niranjani Agathiyan, Costume designers of Paradesi fame, has once again done an extra-ordinary work as the costume designers in providing the best costumes for the movie artists those resembling the theatre artist of pre-independence time.
