ACTOR JAYAM RAVI INAUGURATED THE ALL NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART CENTRE OF DR. AGARWAL’S EYE HOSPITALS AT ANNA NAGAR

In line with its vision to provide world-class ophthalmic treatment facilities across the country, Agarwal’s Eye Hospital today unveiled it’s all new centre at Anna Nagar. Renowned actor Jayam Ravi in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amar Agarwal, CMD, Dr. Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals and Dr. Adil Agarwal, CEO, Dr. Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals inaugurated the new facility. The event also witnessed Jayam Ravi extending his support towards Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital’s eye donation campaign. The Actor announced to donate his eyes as part of the hospital’s eye donation campaign and the hospital authorities declared to sponsor 100 surgeries to extend their appreciation for Actor Jayam Ravi.

Inaugurating the new centre, Mr. Jayam Ravi, said, “I am extremely delighted to be a part of the opening. The treatment facilities offered at the new centre are at par with any international clinics abroad. I am confident the new centre will take the clinical excellence that Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital has been synonymous with to a higher notch. It will set new standards for eye care treatments in the city.”

Prof. Dr. Amar Agarwal, CMD, Dr. Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals, said, “In India more than 80% of the visual impairments are preventable or treatable, but are left unattended due to lack of awareness, availability and cost. Elaborating on the new centre, Dr. Adil Agarwal, CEO, Dr. Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals, said, “With increasing incidence of ophthalmic ailments, there is a growing need for greater number of holistic and advanced eye care centres across the city. The new centre is a manifestation of our vision to bridge this gap. Located at #31, ‘F’ Block, II Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai the all- new centre will act as a secondary eye care hospital. Apart from common eye ailments like Cataract and Refractive Errors the new super specialty eye care centre offers treatments for diseases such as Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular degeneration, Squint, Cornea conditions, Cosmetic Oculoplasty, UVEA, Pediatric Care and Computer Vision Syndrome. Equipped with the latest operation facilities (Modular Operation Theatre, Precision Cataract and Retina Operation Theatres) the centre will provide patients with the best in surgical care as well.
